• Before applying the material, clean the surface from any types of oil, rust, detergents, dirt and other substances that prevent setting.
• If there are cracks or cavities on the surface– they must be sealed with Teknorep 300 or Teknoself 500 cement mixtures.
• It is necessary to mix the glue before using. To increase the adhesion, the glue should be distributed over the surface with the flat part of the spatula, and then run along it with the serrated side in one direction.
• The tile should be laid for 30 minutes at normal air temperature after applying the glue to the surface using a rubber hammer.
• If the adhesive is on the surface for more than 30 minutes, it must be scraped off and discarded.
• When applied to a painted surface, it is necessary to check the stability of the paint and scrape off the swollen parts.

Notes:

• When laying insulation panels, spot or linear application should be performed.
• When laying a material with low water absorption, such as granite, it is recommended to use Teknofay EX or Teknofay Flex.
• The tools used must be washed with warm water immediately after use. You should also wash your hands thoroughly. The surfaces should be wiped with a damp cloth.
• Direct contact of the tile with water should be avoided for at least 10 days after laying.
• When laying ceramic tiles on an old ceramic surface, the drying time may increase to 1-2 weeks depending on environmental conditions and the size of the tile.
