What is Teknomer 200 EX waterproofing compound
This mixture is a two-component composition consisting of a cement base, acrylic and additives that enhance the adhesion of the coating. The substance is widely used for insulation of balconies, terraces, loggias, any open-type buildings, as well as swimming pools, wells, drinking water tanks, tunnels, basement floors and basements. The peculiarity lies in the fact that this elastic material firmly clogs the pores on the concrete, without letting moisture through.

As a waterproofing material, Teknomer 200 EX has a number of advantages:

How to prepare the Teknomer 200 EX waterproofing mixture for work
In a clean container, the liquid acrylic component is mixed with powdered cement mass using a drill with a mixer nozzle. It is recommended to use low speeds (about 400 rpm). Then the mixture is left for 4-5 minutes, after which it is re-stirred until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
How to use Teknomer 200 EX waterproofing compound
The material is applied to the surface with a brush or a spatula in several layers, and the second layer should be applied perpendicular to the previous one. If you need to apply a waterproofing mixture to the screed, then it is recommended to put a waterproofing mesh between the layers.
Commissioning is possible no earlier than 3-7 days after the application of the material, depending on the temperature and humidity of the environment. For this reason, in order to achieve maximum efficiency, it is recommended to start further work after at least 72 hours.
Immediately after using the Teknomer 200 EX mixture, all equipment should be thoroughly washed, since it will be difficult to clean it after the material has solidified due to very good adhesion.
