Tape for sealing and waterproofing seams

Today, waterproofing work cannot be done without additional processing of seams. This helps to ensure more reliable and durable preservation of the waterproofing of structures. Seams can be sealed in several ways, for example, with a sealant (acrylic, polyurethane, bitumen) or a special tape. The latter is considered more versatile and budgetary, so we will talk about it below.

Which tape is better to seal seams?
A good material for sealing seams is considered to be thermoplastic tape Teknomer Delitation 200. It can be used for waterproofing work in structures of various types: from residential buildings to large hydraulic structures.
The width of the tape is 200 mm, and the thickness is 1 mm. The material is perforated along the edges.
Relative elongation at break in both longitudinal and transverse directions is 1000%.
One roll contains 25 m of material.
Heat resistance of the tape is from -40°C to +90°C.
Teknomer Delitation 200 tape is glued using Teknobond 400 D epoxy glue.

What seams is Teknomer Delitation 200 thermoplastic tape suitable for?
Teknomer Delitation 200 thermoplastic tape has a fairly wide range of applications. It can be used to seal the following:

  • seams separating individual sections of buildings;
  • any expansion joints in walls, ceilings, floors;
  • cold joints;
  • working joints;
  • joints of precast concrete structures.

By the way, if you need to seal wider seams, we suggest paying attention to
thermoplastic tape Teknomer Delitation 250 and Teknomer Delitation 300 with a width of 250 mm and 300 mm, respectively.
