How to glue granite stone?

For gluing granite stone, it is recommended to use special adhesives designed for natural stone and granite. In this article, we will analyze 3 types of glue that are suitable for gluing granite stone.

View 1: polyurethane adhesive
Polyurethane adhesives are often used for gluing granite. They provide a strong bond and good adhesion to granite and other materials. Polyurethane adhesives generally have good elasticity, making them suitable for materials that may be subject to slight deformation.

Type 2: epoxy glue
Epoxy adhesives have high strength and good adhesion to granite. They provide a strong and durable connection of materials that is resistant to moisture and the effects of various chemicals. Epoxy glue usually consists of two components - epoxy and a special hardener, which must be mixed before use, following the manufacturer's instructions.
It is necessary to add 2-3% hardener to the total mass of Teknobond 220 adhesive, then apply the material to the surface and press for 3-8 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature. Epoxy glue needs to be worked quickly, as it hardens within 15 minutes.

Type 3: cement-based stone glue
Cement-based stone adhesives can also be used to bond granite. They provide reliable fixation and good adhesion to natural stone. Cement-based stone adhesives are commonly used when laying granite slabs or creating stone surfaces.
