Tile glue is a material without which high–quality tile laying is impossible. It is the glue that is one of the materials that ensures high adhesion between the tile and the base, the quality and durability of the installation, as well as the strength and integrity of the entire decorative coating.
Naturally, all these parameters are possible provided that suitable materials are used and they do not always have to be the most expensive or the most durable.
In this article we would like to tell you how to choose the right materials depending on the operational features.
What types of adhesives are there?
Adhesive compositions are divided according to the main component, areas of use, class, and so on.
There is no universal tile adhesive. But all glues can be conditionally divided into 2 groups:
How do standard adhesive compositions differ from reinforced adhesives?
We can use standard adhesive compositions for small and medium-sized tiles in rooms with normal operating conditions without sudden temperature changes, high humidity, constantly low or elevated temperatures, etc.
We need reinforced adhesive compounds when used in rooms with temperature changes, especially sharp ones, when laying large tiles, natural stone and other massive decorative materials. Also, such glue should be used in industrial premises, where it can be influenced by chemicals. For freezers, ovens and similar objects, glue with standard technical characteristics is also not suitable.

Where can standard adhesives be used?
Standard adhesive compositions are used in:
Where do I need to apply enhanced adhesive compounds?
Adhesive compositions with improved technical characteristics should be used in:
Cement-based adhesive for ceramic tiles with high adhesion strength
Adhesive solution for cement-based ceramic tiles, with high adhesion and increased open time
Adhesive compound with high adhesion for porcelain, ceramics, granite and marble of gray color
Elastic high-performance adhesive solution for laying ceramic tiles, porcelain, granite, marble, natural stone, stained glass and brick
Adhesive compound with high adhesion for porcelain, ceramics, granite and marble of white color
