The pouring of the concrete mixture does not always occur on an untreated surface. Sometimes it is necessary to pour the material on the old concrete, for example, when repairing individual sections, when the old layer shrinks and it is necessary to make it thicker, and also, if necessary, create an additional slope on the surface. And here the important point is to ensure high adhesion between the old and new layers.

A high-quality material, which includes corrosion inhibitors, is Tekno AD. The size of the granules of the material is up to 1 mm, so it is applied in 2 thin layers with a width of 1 mm each. The adhesion to concrete of the material is more than 2 N/mm2, and the strength index is from 65 N/mm2.
It is also necessary to process the reinforcement: it should be cleaned of concrete residues, and if there is rust on the rods, remove it.
Also an important condition is the application of the material on a well-moistened surface.
The corrosion inhibitor can be applied using one of the devices: a roller, an automatic sprayer or a brush. The working mixture must be applied to the surface within 60-90 minutes after mixing, depending on the temperature of the air and the surface.
