Protective film for repairs

Liquid film in repairs is commonly used to protect surfaces from scratches, chips, dirt, and other damage.

The liquid film application process includes several steps:

Surface preparation: The surface must be free of dust, dirt and grease. If necessary, you can use a soft brush or special cleaning products.
Liquid Film Application: Liquid film can be applied by sprayer, brush or roller. It is important to evenly distribute the film over the surface to avoid the formation of bubbles and bumps. It usually takes several coats to achieve the desired thickness.
Drying: After applying the film, it must dry in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Drying time may vary depending on the type and brand of film. For example, Teknomer Protect takes only 2-3 hours to dry, depending on air and surface temperature.
Finishing: after complete drying, the film forms a protective layer on the surface. It must be strong and resistant to mechanical stress. After the repair is completed, the protective film is removed very quickly and simply: you just need to hook it on its edge and gently peel it off the surface.

Benefits of Teknomer Protect liquid film

The aforementioned liquid film has a number of advantages, including:
  • ease of use;
  • the ability to use both indoors and outdoors;
  • incombustibility;
  • tight adhesion to the surface, which guarantees one hundred percent impermeability of repair dust and dirt, which can leave scratches on surfaces (for comparison, adhesive films can pass a certain percentage of dust and dirt);
  • possibility of use in places with pedestrian loads.

In addition to the above advantages, after using the material there is no need to wipe the surfaces, as when removed, the film collects all the dirt from them.
