A material for finishing walls and ceilings on a cement basis, which includes a fraction of marble chips
Granito Travertino is a one-component cement-based finishing material, which includes chemical additives. The material gives the surface the appearance of travertine due to the fraction of marble chips.
Areas of use:
- It is used as decorative decoration of walls and ceilings indoors in such styles as Industrial, HighTech, Loft.
- It can be applied to mineral surfaces such as plaster, concrete, old painted surfaces, gypsum plaster and drywall.
- The material can also be used in humid areas such as the bathroom and kitchen, provided that the application instructions are followed.

- Before applying the material, the surface should be cleaned of any types of oil, rust, detergents, dirt and other substances that prevent setting, as well as clean the surface of old and swollen layers of paint.
- When applied to fresh mineral surfaces, it is necessary to wait at least 28 days until they are completely dry.
- It is necessary to make a high-quality waterproofing of the surface before using Granito Travertino.
- When applied to old synthetic-based surfaces, they should be thoroughly sanded and cleaned of dust.
- If there are cracks on the surface, they should be sealed with a repair compound Teknorep 300.
- Before using the material, it is recommended to prime the surface with Granito Astar primer.
- Granito Wall should be applied to the surface in 2 or 3 layers with a steel spatula, maintaining a pause between layers (12-24 hours). The total thickness of the application should be 2-4 mm.
- The pattern can be created with a spatula when applying the top coat, by grinding after applying the top coat, or by any other convenient method of applying the finish coating. After drying the material, it is recommended to apply the varnish on the surface of Granito Cila to give water resistance.
- To prepare the working solution, pour water into a clean container and pour out dry powder, if necessary, you can add a special dye. Using a low-speed mixer, knead the composition until a homogeneous mass is obtained. The amount of water to mix may vary depending on the ambient temperature. Leave the resulting compound for 1-3 minutes, then re-mix the compound.
Notes:
- The surface must be protected from water for 24 hours after application. Do not clean the surface with abrasive materials.
- When applying a ceramic-coated material, the surface should be reinforced with a mesh.
