Teknobond 405 D is a two-component structural epoxy adhesive and repair solution that does not contain solvents.
Applications:
- repair and sealing of expansion, working and temperature joints in the system with Teknomer thermoplastic tapes;
- bonding of ceramic tiles and porcelain stoneware to smooth surfaces;
(concrete, brick, stone, marble, metal, wood, glass, PVC, etc.);
- sealing of drains and drains;
- filling of joints and cracks.

Instructions for use
Substrate quality/preparation
The application surface must be dry and free from dust, dirt, loose and friable particles, cement mortar residues, oil and grease. If there are weak concrete parts on the surface, they must be removed, then the surface must be repaired using Teknogrout or Teknorep repair mixtures.
The concrete base must be strong and have sufficient compressive strength (minimum 25 N/mm2) and a tear strength of at least 1.5 N/mm2.
Mixing the components
Component B must be added to component A and mixed with a low-speed electric mixer (350-400 rpm) for 2-3 minutes until a homogeneous working mixture is obtained.
Application
To glue Teknomer thermoplastic tape:
The finished mixture is applied with a spatula to the surface on each side of the tape to a width of at least 5 cm.
It is not necessary to apply glue to the middle of the tape.
After gluing the tape to the base, the mixture is applied to the edges of the outer side of the tape to a width of 5 cm with an overlap of the edges.
To eliminate the loss of elasticity of the tape, it is recommended to lay it not stretched, but with a margin of sagging along the seam.
