What does a chemical anchor look like

Usually the chemical anchor is supplied in cartridges, inside of which there is a special thixotropic composition. The himanker consists of two components that are connected during passage through a static mixer when pressing on the cartridge. It is recommended not to use the first 10 cm of the material. For a more convenient application of the chemical anchor, it is recommended to use a special mechanical gun, as in the photo.
 


 

How long does the chemical anchor dry

Depending on the type of chemical anchor, it seizes in 7-15 minutes. The time of complete curing occurs within 7 days, but the anchor element can be loaded after 1-2 hours, depending on the ambient temperature.

There are chemical containers based on polyesters, for example, Teknobond 400P and based on synthetic epoxyacrylate resin, for example, Teknobond 401S or Teknobond 401W. 

Teknobond 400P seizes a few minutes faster, but its strength is slightly lower than that of Teknobond 401S and Teknobond 401W
