Chemical anchor is a thixotropic fast–hardening two-component compound that is used to attach anchor bolts, pins, injection packers, fittings and connecting rods to concrete and other porous substrates.
How to use a chemical anchor correctly
It is very important that the concrete base is strong and free of any materials that may reduce adhesion.
First, we drill a hole of the required diameter and depth, after which we clean it from dust with a round wire brush. Next, we fix the cartridge with a chemical anchor into a mechanical gun and slowly fill the hole, leaving no air gaps. After filling the hole with a chemical anchor, an anchor element must be inserted within 7-8 minutes. The chemical anchor sets in 10 minutes, and commissioning is possible in about 1.5-2 hours, depending on weather conditions. Complete solidification occurs after 7 days.
How much does a chemical anchor cost
The cost of a chemical anchor may vary depending on the characteristics of the material and the manufacturer. For example, the cost of Teknobond 400P for January 2022 is 198 UAH. This is a very favorable price, since the material's characteristics are in no way inferior to well-known European analogues. Teknobond 400P is fast-hardening, resistant to chemicals and prevents the process of corrosion of fittings. The adhesion of the chemical anchor is more than 4 MPa, and the pressure strength is 70 MPa. Other characteristics can be found in the technical data sheet of the Teknobond 400P material.
What can replace the chemical anchor
In theory, a chemical anchor can be replaced with a conventional anchor, and sometimes even with a dowel. But as practice shows, only a chemical anchor can provide high adhesion to concrete or brick, especially to a hollow one.
Therefore, we draw your attention to chemical. Tekno anchors, which are presented in three versions:

Moisture-resistant thixotropic quick-curing chemical anchor based on synthetic epoxy acrylate resin
Two component fast-curing thixotropic chemical anchor
A mechanical gun for evenly squeezing the adhesive composition or epoxy resin from the cartridge
Two-component thixotropic quick-drying chemical anchor based on polyester resin
A mechanical gun for evenly squeezing the adhesive composition or epoxy resin from the cartridge
