How to apply epoxy paint correctly?
It is necessary to apply epoxy paint on a cleaned dry surface without cracks or voids. If there are such on the concrete surface, use any Tekno repair mixture to eliminate them.
Teknobond 600 epoxy paint consists of two components A and B, so they should be mixed with a mixer to obtain a homogeneous working mass.- The paint should be applied at a temperature above 10 ° C for 30-40 minutes after mixing the components. After that, the material is smoothed with a trowel, and at the end, a needle roller should be used on the paint to prevent the formation of bubbles.
- Commissioning is allowed 7 days after application.
- The consumption of epoxy paint when applied in 1 layer is 0.250-0.300 kg / m2.
- We recommend not to apply the paint in direct sunlight, as the material may burn out when drying. But after drying, the sun's rays will no longer be terrible.
