What is an industrial floor?

Industrial floors are durable wear–resistant coatings that are made at such facilities as factories and factories, warehouses, parking lots, hangars, repair shops, workshops, etc. The industrial floor must be resistant to the negative effects of moisture, chemicals, must protect the reinforced concrete structure from mechanical influences, temperature changes.

What is lithium impregnation for concrete?

Lithium impregnation for concrete Teknoser Lityum is a liquid surface hardener based on lithium silicate. The material is ideal for concrete floors with high intensity of operation, including industrial ones. Lithium impregnation crystals penetrate into the pores and micropores of concrete, thereby providing reliable protection from external disruptors, in particular moisture, chemicals, temperature changes, etc.

Among the advantages of lithium impregnation are:

  • Increasing the strength of the concrete surface.
  • Increasing the wear resistance of the surface.
  • Preventing concrete cracking.
  • Increasing the water resistance of concrete.
  • Exclusion of dust formation.
  • Preventing the destruction of the concrete surface at low temperatures.
  • In addition to the strength characteristics, the impregnation creates a beautiful smooth glossy coating.
     


 

What is the consumption of lithium impregnation?

Lithium impregnation is quite a profitable material, since its consumption does not exceed 250 ml / m2, and it can be applied in 1 layer.

Important point: during the operation of the floor impregnated with lithium impregnation, it is not recommended to use acid cleaners.

Lithium impregnation can be applied not only to freshly laid concrete (in this case, no additional surface preparation is required), but also to old concrete. The main thing is that the concrete surface must be durable with a quality not lower than 20/25.
