Teknocila 400 is a highly effective white water-based acrylic varnish for the protection of mineral surfaces. It is used as a finishing coating.
Areas of application:

  • To protect the concrete screed from moisture
  • To protect some decorative floor and wall coverings, for example, with the effect of marble
  • For use as an alternative material on surfaces on which it is not desirable to apply glossy coatings on a solvent

Properties of the varnish:

  • Increases the wear resistance of the concrete surface

  • Vapor permeable
  • Increases the strength of the surface
  • Prevents dust formation on the surface
  • Easy to apply
  • Does not contain solvents
  • Forms a good translucent film on the surface

  • Before applying the material, the surface should be cleaned of any types of oil, rust, detergents, dirt and other substances that prevent setting.
  • The surface must be dry, strong and firm. The best methods of surface preparation are steam cleaning, high-pressure water jet or grinding.
  • The Teknocila 400 varnish is ready for use. Mix the material before use.
  • The material can be applied with a brush with a short pile, a roller or a mechanical sprayer in 2 layers.

Notes:

  • Do not apply the material during and an hour before precipitation.
  • During application and within 24 hours after application of the material, the air temperature should not be less than +5 °C.
  • The tools and equipment used should be washed immediately after use.
  • The product may cause irritation if it gets on the skin. It is necessary to use work clothes, protective gloves, a mask and glasses. Before starting work, you can apply a protective cream on your hands.
  • Work should be carried out at a great distance from any sources of fire, such as welding and cutting machines, and also do not smoke near the surface with varnish, since the material is flammable.
