Teknoself 500 is a one component self-leveling high-strength compound for self-leveling floors with synthetic polymer additives and high adhesion.
Scope of application:
- To prepare the surface for laying tiles, ceramics, granite, marble, parquet, linoleum, carpet (used as a leveling screed).
- For indoor and outdoor use.
- For strengthening surfaces in order to increase resistance to loads (shops, exhibition areas, industrial sites).
- For areas where it is necessary to pour a self-leveling coating.

- Before applying, clean the surface from any types of oil, rust, detergents, dirt and other substances that prevent setting.
- If there are cracks or cavities on the surface – they must be sealed with Teknorep.
- For better adhesion, the surface should be pre-treated with a Teknolatex 300 primer.
- You can use a studded roller to remove air bubbles from the surface.
- Dry surfaces should be slightly moistened.
- The compound should be mixed using a low-speed electric mixer until a homogeneous mass is obtained using 5.0 - 6.0 liters of water and a powder of Teknoself 500. The volume of water may vary depending on the ambient temperature. The compound should be distributed over the surface for 30 minutes.
Notes:
- After application, it is necessary to protect the surface from adverse weather conditions, such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high air temperature (more than + 35 °C), rain and frost.
- After applying the compound, it is necessary to protect the surface from contact with water. It is not recommended to use the compound in places exposed to constant water exposure.
- During curing, the surface temperature should not fall below +10 °C. Low temperatures can negatively affect the curing process.
- When covering the surface with a mixture of Teknoself 500, as a finishing material, it is necessary to cover the surface with Teknocila 400 to increase resistance to environmental influences.
- The tools and equipment used must be washed with warm water immediately after use.
