• Before applying, clean the surface from any types of oil, rust, detergents, dirt and other substances that prevent setting.  If there are cracks or cavities on the surface – they must be sealed with Teknorep.  Teknoself should be applied 3-4 days after the cracks are eliminated. Dry surfaces should be slightly moistened. For better adhesion, the surface must be treated with a Teknolatex 300 primer.
• Spread the prepared compound evenly over the primed surface. It is recommended to use a needle roller to eliminate air bubbles. It is impossible to achieve a smooth surface without using a primer.  During the solidification of the mixture, it is necessary to protect the surface from strong wind and frost.
• The solution should be kneaded using a low-speed electric mixer until a homogeneous mass is obtained using 6-6.5 liters of water and a dry Teknoself mixture. The volume of water may vary depending on the ambient temperature. The solution should be distributed over the surface for 30 minutes.

Notes:

• After application, it is necessary to protect the surface from adverse weather conditions, such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high air temperature (more than + 35 °C), rain and frost.
• It is not recommended to apply the compound with a thickness of more than 5 mm in one layer. If it is necessary to apply a compound with a thickness of more than 5 mm, it is recommended to apply several layers or use Teknoself 500.
• After applying the mixture, it is necessary to protect the surface from contact with water. It is not recommended to use the mixture in places exposed to constant water exposure.
• Under normal weather conditions, the recommended time for putting the surface into operation is 24 hours. For further work on the surface, it is recommended to wait 3 days.
• The tools and equipment used must be washed with warm water immediately after use.
