Teknoser Baski is a hardener for freshly laid printed concrete based on quartz fillers and other additives to increase the wear resistance of the surface.

Application

Teknoser Baski is applied to the surface of freshly laid concrete. It is mainly used on terraces and balconies, in offices and bars, in galleries and homesteads, in courtyards and by swimming pools, in underground passages and at metro stations.

Features / Advantages

Foundation quality / preliminary preparation

High-quality concrete mix should be used, which must meet the requirements of local standards. The characteristics of concrete are determined by its class, established by its static calculation and general recommendations for the design of concrete mixtures. The water-cement ratio should not be too low, since a certain amount of water is necessary for the hydration of Teknoser Baski. To reduce the likelihood of shrinkage cracks, it is recommended to use Teknoflow Super plasticizer.
When choosing supplements, be sure to consult with Tekno specialists.
After pouring concrete, the surface should be leveled with vibrators to strengthen and level the concrete surface.

Application

On the prepared concrete surface, you should gradually sprinkle Teknoser Baski with a consumption of 3-5 kg / m2, wait about 10 minutes and rub it with special ironers, paying special attention to the processing of the edges. It is not recommended to apply Teknoser Baski on light surfaces (white, yellow). Next, apply a separator for Teknoser Ayrac printing plates and start the printing process. After 1-2 days, the surface should be well rinsed with pressurized water.

Limitations

  • Teknoser Baski should not be used if mineral impurities (fly ash, etc.) are added to the concrete mixture.
  • It is impossible to apply the fortified in windy, very cold and rainy weather.
  • The characteristics of the concrete mix, such as the water content and the quality of the concrete, can lead to slight variations in the color of the surface.
  • It is necessary to apply Teknoser Baski as evenly as possible.
  • The application time may vary depending on the quality and type of concrete coating, weather conditions.
  • Shrinkage seams should be cut within two days, if the surface is cut later, this process will be quite difficult.
  • After the material dries, the color of the surface may change slightly.

1. What is needed for printed concrete?

To work with printed concrete, you will need: concrete mix, formwork, vibrating screed, squeegee, grease for printing plates and printing plates.

2. What is sprinkled on printed concrete?

To create printed concrete, the freshly laid concrete compound is sprinkled with a hardener, for example, Teknoser Baski, which is made on the basis of quartz fillers and other special additives that increase the wear resistance of the surface.

3. Which is cheaper printed concrete or paving slabs?

Comparing printed concrete with pavement tiles of average quality - the price will be approximately the same. But if you want to make a more interesting pattern or use high-quality paving slabs, printed concrete will be much cheaper.

4. How much does a square meter of printed concrete cost?

The cost per square meter of printed concrete when using the Teknoser Baski hardener is about 38 UAH (excluding the concrete compound itself and the disconnector for printing plates). The cost of 1 m2, taking into account the hardener Teknoser Baski and the Tekno Ayrac disconnector, is about 66 UAH (also excluding the concrete compound itself).

5. What is decorative printed concrete?

Decorative printed concrete is one of the varieties of horizontal surface cladding with which you can create a very beautiful surface for natural stone, paving stones or tiles, which, in addition to a beautiful appearance, increases the strength and wear resistance of concrete.

6. What is a concrete fixer?

Concrete binder is used to increase the wear resistance of the surface. For sidewalks, exhibition and shopping centers, for underground passages and metro stations, for hangars and mechanical repair shops, for parking lots, garages and ramps.
