Foundation quality / preliminary preparation
The base must be clean and strong. Before applying the material, the surface must be thoroughly soaked with water. The places of active water filtration must be embroidered at least 20 mm wide and deep, and all weak parts of concrete must be removed.
Preparation of the working solution
If there are active leaks on the surface, the solution can not be kneaded, since there will be enough water on the surface to use the material.
If there are no active leaks on the surface, the dry mixture of Teknoplug Yildirim should be mixed with water in the proportion of 200 ml per 1 kg of the mixture to a plastic state.
Application
Application in the form of a solution:
After you have kneaded the solution to the dough state, wait until the mixture starts to heat up, shape the solution into a cone and place it in a crack or cavity. By pressing, hold the solution (up to 30 seconds) until the hardening begins. Remove excess material with sandpaper or an abrasive disc. If there are a lot of leaks, start grouting from the top.
Application without mixing with water (in powder form):
Take a sufficient amount of dry mixture in the palm of your hand and fill the place of active water leakage with one movement, hold it with pressure for 5-10 seconds until the active flow stops completely. Immediately after application, remove excess material using a sharp-edged tool, a spatula, etc.
After applying Teknoplug Yildirim to the surface, we recommend applying Teknomer 100 for absolute waterproofing protection.
Limitations
1. What is a hydro seal for?
The hydraulic seal can be used both to eliminate leaks and to seal cracks in concrete. The hydro seal is quite easy to use, the main thing is to follow the manufacturer's recommendations.
2. How to fix a leak in a concrete pool?
To eliminate leaks, use a special repair compound - a hydraulic seal, which seizes in 1-2 minutes when in contact with water. It is necessary to work with the material very quickly: the material was kneaded to a plastic state, something like a mushroom was molded, the material was fixed in the leak and held the hand for about a minute until the leak completely stopped. That's all. The leak has been eliminated.
3. How to eliminate water leakage in the well?
Even a small leak can affect the quality of water, because harmful impurities contained in groundwater can easily penetrate into it, or just sand, which will make the water cloudy. In such situations, it is recommended to use a special repair compound - a hydraulic seal.
