Bentonite cord "Gidrostop" 15x25 mm  is made of sodium bentonite, which swells under the influence of water. Bentonite is a natural clay mineral that swells and increases in size when in contact with water. In a confined space, it creates tension that reduces water permeability, even in the presence of cracks and porous areas in concrete. Due to this, it is an ideal material for reliable waterproofing of concrete structures. Excellent technological performance and a simple installation method make it possible to use the product as an insulating material for joints in underground construction, on hydraulic structures and in civil engineering.

Application:

• intended for waterproofing joints or eliminating leaks in concrete structures (basements, swimming pools, pipe connections, sewage systems, etc.), forming a flexible and elastic gasket or flexible seal in a joint or crack;
• waterproofs temporary window openings in non-residential basements, ventilation holes,
• used in all repair and reconstruction works of buildings and structures (in all cases when concreting is carried out and when waterproofing of joints and connections is required). 
• used in water and sewer passages, underground parts of construction sites, as well as in houses and structures built below the groundwater level.
