Teknolatex 300 is a one component high-viscosity primer based on an acrylic emulsion with high adhesion and water resistance. Enhances adhesion between glass and ceramic surfaces.

Application areas:

  • For vertical and horizontal glass and ceramic surfaces
  • For gluing ceramics on ceramics
  • To increase adhesion and reduce the absorbency of the surface

Properties of the primer:

  • Easy to use
  • It has high adhesive strength
  • Water-based, has no characteristic odor, can be used indoors
  • It has high water resistance due to the presence of special polymers in the composition

  • Before applying the material, the surface should be cleaned of any types of oil, rust, detergents, dirt and other substances that prevent setting.
  • It is necessary to apply the material to a dry surface with a brush, roller or mechanical spray.
  • Mix the mixture for 3 minutes before use.

Notes:

  • After applying the primer, make sure that direct sunlight and precipitation do not fall on the surface, and also do not use the material at temperatures above +35 ˚С and below +5 ˚С.
  • The product may cause irritation if it gets on the skin. It is necessary to use work clothes, protective gloves, a mask and glasses. In case of contact with the material in the eyes, immediately rinse them with warm water and consult a doctor.
  • The tools and equipment used must be washed immediately after use.

1. Do I need to primer over waterproofing?

The surface should be grooved before applying waterproofing. The primer increases the roughness of the base, providing better adhesion between the surface and waterproofing.

2. When do I need a wall primer?

Primer (primer) it is needed in cases when it is necessary to increase adhesion to the surface, dust it and harden it. Teknolatex 300 is considered a high-quality primer based on an acrylic emulsion. The material is applied with a flow rate of 200-300 g/m2 (in 1 layer).

3. How to understand whether it is necessary to prime the walls?

Since the primer performs a lot of important functions (increasing adhesion, dedusting and hardening of the surface, filling microcracks), the surface can be primed at every stage of finishing.

4. What will happen if the walls are not primed?

Depending on the base and the finish coating, it is determined whether it is necessary to prime the surface with a primer or not. The paint will fall on the walls more evenly and more beautifully after priming the surface, but it is not always necessary to use a primer for finishing with tiles.

5. How to cover the walls with a primer?

The primer should be applied to clean, dry walls with a brush, roller or mechanical spray. Most often, the surface is primed in 1 layer.
