Surface preparation and application
The surface to be applied must be free of dust, oil, dirt, rust and other substances that may reduce the adhesion of the material.
Weak parts of the surface, cavities, holes and cracks must be repaired in advance with appropriate Teknorep repair mortars.
Before applying Teknomer 400 2K EX, the prepared surface must be coated with Teknomer 400 Astar bitumen-rubber primer.
Mix component A with an electric mixer (300-400 rpm) or other similar equipment until a uniform color and consistency is achieved. Add component B to component A and mix for 3 minutes until the mixture achieves a uniform color.
The mixed, ready-to-use product is applied to the surface with a stiff-bristled brush, roller or spray. Each subsequent layer of material is applied no earlier than 3 hours after the previous one.
Each subsequent layer of material is applied in a direction perpendicular to the application of the previous layer.
After applying the material, the surface should be protected from adverse weather conditions: direct sunlight, strong wind, precipitation, high and low temperatures.
The equipment must be cleaned immediately after application. Once the material has hardened, it can only be cleaned mechanically.
