Instructions for use
Surfaces must be clean, flat, sound, free from any dust, grease, dirt, rust, formwork grease, detergents and other similar substances and residues that prevent adhesion. If there is delamination (segregation) in the concrete, damaged and loose parts must be removed and weak parts must be eliminated. If there are cracks or cavities in the floor or wall to be coated, they must be repaired with appropriate TEKNOREP repair solutions.
TEKNOMER 700 can be applied to the surface with a brush or roller. TEKNOMER 700 is a ready-to-use product. It should be applied evenly using a special roller (short-haired roller). It is recommended to apply in one layer of the desired thickness. In case of application in 2 layers, do not wait for the first layer to dry completely (check by the “peel-off” method). If desired, a fiberglass mesh can be used as a reinforcing material between the layers of TEKNOMER 700.
After application, the surface should be protected from adverse weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high air temperatures (above +35°C), rain and frost. Before the product has completely hardened, hands should be cleaned with water and detergent. Tools should be cleaned of the material immediately after completion of work. After the product has hardened, it can only be cleaned mechanically.
Application Notes / Limitations
- When applying in two layers, pay attention to the drying of the first layer "to the point of peeling". Do not apply in the rain.
- Do not apply to bitumen-based coatings.
- No, dilute with water, do not add foreign substances.
- Freshly applied material should be protected from weather conditions such as rain, etc., until fully cured.
