Bitumen-rubber primer Teknomer 400 Astar

Water-based bitumen-rubber primer before applying any bitumen waterproofing.

Surface preparation and application

The surface to be applied must be free of dust, oil, dirt, rust and other substances that may reduce the adhesion of the material.

Weak parts of the surface, cavities, holes and cracks must be repaired in advance with appropriate Teknorep repair mortars.

Before using the material, it must be stirred for 5 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is formed.

The mixed, ready-to-use product is applied to the surface with a stiff-bristled brush, roller or spray. Each subsequent layer of material is applied no earlier than 1 hour after the initial application.

The 2nd layer of material is applied in a direction perpendicular to the application of the 1st layer.

After applying the material, the surface should be protected from adverse weather conditions: direct sunlight, strong wind, precipitation, high and low temperatures.

The equipment must be cleaned immediately after application. Once the material has hardened, it can only be cleaned mechanically.
