Teknomer 600 2K PU is a two-component viscoelastic soft-wired polyurethane waterproofing. After the mixing of the components, that applied polymerizes, providing a seamless waterproofing coating with a wine-like high elasticity (>2000%) and strong adhesion to a rich type of surface. It is built up to self-sealing of small punctures and superficially seals cracks.
Application areas:
- It is used as an insulating material against moisture, non-pressure and pressure water
- Bathrooms, terraces and roofs (tiled waterproofing)
- When waterproofing foundations, supporting walls, balconies
- Car parks, bridge tops and similar areas of all buildings
- Asphalt membranes
- Repair and restoration of old waterproofing
- It is used as a waterproofing material for wet bulk insulation
- When isolating areas where resistance to plant roots is needed
- When repairing old waterproofing coatings
- For wood and sheet materials
- Gypsum and cement boards
- Sealing sealed cracks and seams
- Waterproofing and protection of concrete, asphalt concrete, metal
Properties of waterproofing:
- Penetrates into surface cracks and seals them
- Keeps constant elasticity at temperatures from -40 to +80°C
- Cold resistance: the overlap remains elastic even at -40°C
- Crack resistance
- Provides high adhesion
- Waterproof
- Dries quickly
- Resistant to salts and bases, dilute acids and sulfates
- Resistant to cold water and frost
- Resistant to chemicals
- Easy to apply and does not form seams on the surface
- Has high elasticity (2000%)
- Before applying the material, the surface can not be primed

- Before applying the material, the surface should be cleaned of any types of oil, rust, detergents, dirt and other substances that prevent setting.
- If there are cracks or other damages on the surface, they must be previously repaired with Teknorep 300 repair solutions. Use Tekomer 600 2K PU at least 7 days after surface repair.
- Before using Teknomer 600 2K PU, the joints should be worked with Teknomer pah bandi insulation tape.
- All gutters, drains and filters should also be insulated with Teknomer pah bandi.
- Next, apply the Teknobond 300 epoxy primer with a brush or roller with a flow rate of 0.200-0.400 kg/m2. The consumption depends on the quality and absorbency of the concrete. You should wait until the primer dries (from 4 to 48 hours) and you can start applying Teknomer 600 2K PU.
- To prepare the working solution, first stir component A, then add component B. Using a low-speed mixer, knead the composition for at least 3 minutes until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
- The material can be applied with a brush with stiff bristles or a mechanical spray in two layers, and the second layer should be applied perpendicular to the first. After applying the layer, you should wait at least 5 hours before applying the next one. The layer is considered dried when it ceases to be imprinted on the fingers.
Notes:
- After applying the primer, make sure that direct sunlight and precipitation do not fall on the surface, and also do not use the material at temperatures above + 35 ˚С and below + 3 ˚С.
- Since the material is not resistant to UV rays, after applying waterproofing, it is necessary to cover the surface with a finishing coating, such as tiles, plaster, screed, etc.
- The tools and equipment used must be washed immediately after use.
- Do not apply Teknomer 600 2K PU in the rain.
- Do not add foreign materials to the compound.
1. Do I need to do waterproofing on the balcony?
Waterproofing on the balcony is desirable to do, because during rain, snow or other weather conditions, moisture will penetrate into the pores of the surface, which will lead to the appearance of fungus and dampness in the room.
2. How can the foundation be waterproofing?
There are many different ways to waterproofing the foundation, one of the best is considered to be coating waterproofing, for example, polyurethane - Teknomer 600 2K PU.
3. How to apply waterproofing to the foundation?
Waterproofing should be applied to the cleaned surface. If there are cracks or other damages, they must be repaired with a repair solution beforehand. All joints should be worked out with an insulating tape, primed the base, wait for the primer to dry completely and you can start applying a waterproofing mixture.
4. What is the best way to make waterproofing?
There are many options for waterproofing: penetrating mixtures, polymer-cement waterproofing, acrylic mastics, bitumen mastics, polyurethane mixtures, as well as sheet and roll materials. We recommend paying attention to the two-component elastic polyurethane waterproofing Teknomer 600 2K PU, the adhesion of which is more than 2 MPa.
