Waterproofing elastic compound Teknomer 200 EX Crystallized(Текномер 200 ЕХ Кристалайзд)

• Before applying the material, the surface should be cleaned of any types of oil, rust, detergents, dirt and other substances that prevent setting.  
• If there are cracks or other damages on the surface, they must be previously repaired with Teknorep repair solutions.
• If there are active leaks, they should be sealed with Teknoplug.
• The material should be applied to a wet surface.
• To prepare the working solution, pour the liquid component (10 liters)  in a clean container, then slowly pour out the powdered component (25 kg). Using a low-speed mixer (500 rpm), knead the composition for 5 minutes until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Leave the resulting mixture for 2-3 minutes, then re-mix the compound for 3 minutes.
• The compound should be applied to the surface with a brush or a spatula. Each next layer should be applied perpendicular to the previous one. 
• The layer dries for at least 3 hours. If more than 12 hours have passed after applying the layer, moisten the surface before applying the next one.
• The total thickness of the application layers is 3 mm.
• On the surface to be tiled, each corner should be worked out using the Teknomer pah bandi tape.

Notes:

• The average lifetime of the compound is 120 minutes, but in conditions of high temperature, strong wind, low humidity, the lifetime of the compound may decrease.
• After applying the material, it is necessary to protect the surface from direct sunlight for 24 hours.
• After applying the waterproofing make sure that direct sunlight and precipitation do not fall on the surface, and also do not use the material at temperatures above + 35 ˚С and below + 3 ˚С.
• In case of constant pedestrian loads or in case of sunlight, after the waterproofing mixture has completely dried (at least 7 days) it is necessary to apply a finishing coating, for example, ceramic tiles. 
• The tools and equipment used must be washed with water immediately after use.
• Work should be carried out in compliance with safety and hygiene standards, using a mask and glasses.
