• Before applying the waterproofing material, cut off the tape of the required length.
• After applying the first layer of waterproofing material, an insulating tape should be laid along all joints and dynamic seams. In order to fix the tape well, the first layer of waterproofing can be applied a little thicker. 
• The connecting edges of the tape should be softened with a soldering iron and fixed one on top of the other (the recommended joint length is 10 cm). 
• Thus, continuous waterproofing is provided. Next, apply a second layer of waterproofing material.

Notes:

• Make sure that the tape is well covered with an insulating material. 
• The surfaces on which Teknomer Pah Bandi was used should not come into contact with open fire. If the fire hits the surface, you should direct water to this metso and extinguish the fire with foam.
• It is not recommended to use it at high temperatures.
• Immediately after applying the waterproofing, it is necessary to protect the surface from adverse weather conditions (direct sunlight, high temperatures ≤ +35˚С, precipitation and frost).

1. Why do I need a waterproofing tape?

Waterproofing tape is necessary to seal the seams of objects with high humidity, to isolate dynamic and cold seams, to protect the structure from water penetration during the formation of cracks up to 7 mm wide.

2. Is it possible to do without waterproofing tape?

In rooms in which waterproofing works are necessary, it is impossible to do without an insulating tape. After all, only with the help of it it is possible to seal all joints and seams of the structure efficiently and reliably. 

3. What kind of tape should I use for waterproofing?

For high-quality waterproofing, it is recommended to use Teknomer Pah Bandi insulating elastomer tape with a width of 120 mm, which consists of a TPE insert (70 mm) and a polyester mesh. The pressure to break the tape is 3 Bar (positive), the transverse tension is 123%.
